In the late 1800’s, Japanese fishermen would take a fish from the days catch, ink the fish to make a print, and hang it up at the market as an advertisement of their day’s catch. Now it is considered an art form. This is Bass and Perch fish that we caught in Michigan, printed on 18×26-inch rice paper. The Bass measures 15-inches and the Perch measure 7-inches each.
